I do not generally write reviews but I received such amazing Moving services I wanted to let everyone know and recommend Angel at Motivated Movers. They helped move our business from one location to another saved us hundreds of dollars and did such an exceptional job while doing so! I highly recommend them if you are in need of moving.
We moved from Montgomery to Wetumpka on 08/26/2017. All of my boxes that had breakable items in them were labeled fragile. I had items broken and a old antique bowl broken that can not be replaced. We were so disappointed in this. We moved these same items to Houston, Texas a few years ago and nothing was damaged. I felt there overall price was too high for such a short distance. I rented a U-haul in Houston and paid for 2 guys with a moving company to load and then 2 guys to upload in Montgomery and was only out of pocket about 850.00. We were charged $539.00 on Saturday, a lot of the time was not managed well by the young men, who was assigned to the move. I usually never write a review, but this time we were disappointed and the fact to lose what we lose in damaged stuff.
I've used Motivated Movers twice and have received excellent, courteous, careful, professional service each time. This last time Barry, Barnard, Martrell and Lydell were wonderful. I was moving into a brand new home and they were ever so careful with ever item not to mar the floors or touch the walls. They took great care with some antique furniture and made sure everything was where I wanted it before they left. I will use them again and highly recommend them. Oh and Barry did jog all day.
Decent price. Very poor performance. Packing was very poor. Packers did not know how to pack or simply did not care. Same results regardless. Furniture received with numerous defects. Loading and padding in the trucks was sub-par. Trying to recover costs to repair we were told that they pay based of $0.60/lb. Lucky for us they destroyed a 500 # antique cast iron planter. Yet to receive any compensation however.
If you have anything of value stay away from these people.

We moved last weekend from Auburn, AL to Grayton Beach, FL. The move went so well. Russo and Shedrick were awesome. Very careful with my antiques and paintings, very prompt, hard workers and extremely courteous and polite. I recommend them highly.
