Golf tournaments in this area are a boon for the whole town, especially the hotel industry. I had chosen this hotel because it was close to the Bass Pro Shop that I had a part in building. It is an average place, and it served my needs, though at a rate of my full per diem. When a golf tournament came to town, I had to move to Montgomery until it was over, because they had booked my room .
